Included in the program of festivities in honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary , is held the crafts fair of Altura . Perpetuating the memory of our people and the secrets passed down from generation to generation , are found in this event, ancient flavors and traditional crafts that have withstood the trade and industrialization.

For three days, the artisans create, live, examples of popular art, authentic objects with soul, such as bobbin lace , the tiles, basketry and empreita. Eggs, almonds,flour,milk and fruits are shaped by the hands of craftsmen to turn into flavors almost forgotten as candy eggs and almonds, bread baked in a wood oven, the goat cheese and the wines and liquors in the region .
